The beauty of bold prints is that a little goes a long way. You only need a minimal amount of bold to create a maximum look. And, when those gorgeous, bold pieces cost less than $20, cheap sure can be chic!

I checked out a couple of my all time fave stores for some bold, eclectic looks: Target and Urban Outfitters. Here’s what caught my eye…Remember, you only need a few bold splashes to pull a room together. The right amount will add some flavor to your space while too much will just look like clutter.

I found this great Sami Hayek Wavy Curve Tapestry. (Side note: did you know he is Salma Hayek’s brother?) Anyways, this design is great because you can add any other color to it without it being overpowering. Red, pink, or yellow pillows are a perfect compliment. Plus, it’s machine washable and dryer friendly so the upkeep is minimal. ($19.99)

I love when new things have a sort of vintage look to them, like the pink, green, cream and brown in the Floral Stick Table Lamp. The shade is made of fabric which only adds emphasis to the vintage feel and the pull-chain base is the perfect partner. Use it as a desk lamp for great inspiration. ($19.99)

Hate to go back to my guy, Sami, but his stuff is awesome! Like his 3-in-1 Media Storage Box Set. The masculinity of the wood matched with the femininity of the hot pink are an undeniable combo. Throw your old pics, love notes, or your favorite winter scarf you don’t want your roommate to secretly borrow into the durable wooden boxes for safe keeping. ($14.99)

How cute would this Round Graphic Rug look in your bathroom or by your bed? I admit, I’m not much into aquatic design pieces, but there’s something about a Koi Fish that gives me a somewhat happy feeling. Or, maybe it’s the bright red, white and black colors that always look so dangerously stylish when joined together. Either way, it’s a win-win. ($14.00)

Nothing says get to know the real me than when you’re in the shower. Now you can take the mystery out of it all with the oh so cool Vinyl Pockets Shower Curtain. It’s got 40 slots that can fit postcards, photos, artwork, invitations, notes, pretty much anything. Wouldn’t it be funny to take pics of yourself with your hands out in front of you like “I can’t believe you’re trying to look at me when I’m in the shower!” type pose? Just a thought… ($20.00)
